Mesh:

We have a variety of mesh options depending on your desired level of security and budget.

Fibreglass – a light weight mesh suitable for aluminium doors and flyscreens. Black only. A budget option.

Aluminium Mesh – slightly stronger than fibreglass. Suitable for aluminium doors and flyscreens. Black only.

Tuff Mesh – heavy duty aluminium mesh. Recommended for aluminium and steel doors. Black only.

Limited Vision Mesh (DVA) – allows you to look out clearly but restricts others looking in. Recommended for aluminium and steel doors, particularly front entrance doors. Can be colour matched to your door frame.

Stainless Steel Mesh – Marine Grade 316 Stainless Steel Mesh. For maximum security. Offers full vision both ways. Standard on Invisiguard Doors (aluminium) and the SS1 Steel Screen Door. Can be used on any steel door. Black only.

Locks and Handles:

All doors come standard with either a Whitco or Austral single point lock. The exception to this is for a sliding aluminium screen door, where a basic latch is used.
A popular option is to upgrade to either a brass or chrome finished handle, to match existing handles on your wooden doors or simply for a smarter finish. For the security conscious resident, a three point locking system can be added to ensure maximum security.

Please inform us if you would like your new security door to be keyed alike to your wooden door at time of order so that the necessary arrangements can be made prior to installation. We can also key alike all doors in the one order. ie. front and back security doors. All doors come with two keys. If you require additional keys this can be organised for you.

Other Options Available:

Frame Upgrade – for added security use a steel outer frame.

• Kick plate – some doors come standard with a kick plate, if not we can easily add one for you.
• Half Panels – for added protection against weather and pets.
• Pet Entrance – available any size.
• Oversize – most standard frames are made up to 900 wide and 2100 high. If your opening is larger than this it is classified as ‘oversize.

Porch Enclosures and Side Panels:

Porch enclosures are a great way of creating additional undercover and secure storage areas, ideal for storing shoes, umbrellas, bikes, etc. We can also fit side panels to the framework to match your door design.

Window Grills:

• 19 x 19 outer tube steel frame.
• Can be designed to integrate with style of house or existing doors and windows.
• Measured and custom made by experienced tradespeople.

Flyscreens:

Made to Measure aluminium flyscreens are available upon request. Standard mesh is fibreglass.

Maintenance:

All powdercoated products should be washed down with warm, soapy water regularly.

Warranty:

All doors come with a 12 month warranty on the construction, installation, finish and lock. Adjustment due to the movement of the house is not covered. Mesh and closers are excluded from the warranty. Tampering with the lock, misuse or claims due to lack of maintenance are not covered.
